This seems to be a fairly well known practice but I can't find much in the way of documentation. My HomeSeer is on Linux. I want to run Speaker and maybe a plugin or two in Windows. I installed HomeSeer on Windows but I don't start it. I was able to get Kate & Paul NeoSpeech voices added finally. It took several excruciatingly slow fades into not working before it installed. Starting Speaker manually works fine. Kate is speaking in Windows using Speaker (long time no hear Kate - I missed you). But she either isn't receiving commands or is not accepting them to speak for HomeSeer.
How would I run a Windows only plugin? If I have to run HomeSeer on Windows just to get the plugin to run does that mean I need to buy a second license?
