So I went to micro center and bought a Pi 3 and their 7 inch touch screen. I decided to see if hstouch would work and I did get it working. Still checking for stability which will take a while, but I do have screens displaying and can control buttons. I am running the Windows client using mono. You have to do it in sudo mode. My purpose behind wanting this is to replace my russound keypads with these. I already have cat 5 running so Poe would be easy and the hole is already in the wall. Plus these screens are really thin so I am hoping to find a clean way to mount.
