Gmail problem

I started to have a problem with my gmail. I did not change anything on my setup (as far as I am aware...), but seen this error every time my email account should be checked. No idea what it means and why. It worked fine for the last 3 months (since I started with HS3)

Error Unable to connect to POP server(1) Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
