Timers stopped working properly yesterday

Hi All,
Anyone else having problems with timers lately, possibly since last update?
I have some simple events that have been working correctly for over a year and a day ago, things went seriously south.
The event checks for a heartbeat from a leak detector and when it gets it, resets the timer. Another event checks the same timer and if it exceeds 1 day, 2 hours, sends an email, then restarts the timer. These were working fine until yesterday. I was bombarded with (heartbeat fail) emails every second. When I looked at Tools/..Timers Counters, one of the timers was running but the time was not incrementing! Strange. Today, one of the timers exceeded the value I set but did not trigger the event. Anyone with thoughts on this?
