Fall back to another scene when timed out

What I try to accomplish is having my lights set to 100% upon motion detected, then dim to 30% av a certain amount of time. And then, eventually, turn off after the 30% scene's timeout.

Is there a clever way to do this?

I have tried creating an event for "when Scene 100% becomes OFF" (as in times out), trigger event "Scene 30%".
The problem is that this event always fires when i activate "Scene 100% to Activate timer". Ie. it immediately dims to 30% upon activation of 100%.
