More problems this morning from HS3.
Trying to add a brand new, just removed from the box ZW112 door/window sensor. The first thing I always do is put the controller in exclude mode, and exclude a new device since I have gotten some before that were already included in some network (even though they were new).
HS3 decided to exclude a node on the other side of the house...a ZW15SM switch that I guarantee no one was touching since I am the only one home.
Try the same procedure again. HS3 excludes ANOTHER node at random, this time another ZW15SM in another room. Now I have two devices that I have to redo from scratch. Thanks again HS.
Being gun shy of this happening again, I decide to do a factory reset of the new sensor, and then add it using non-secure mode. Put the controller in non-secure include mode and add the device. The device add fails (not an uncommon occurrence in HS even though the device was about 6 inches from the Zee-S2). Now it appears that the failed add has overwritten a THIRD node - this time a ZW100A multisensor. Now I have three FUed nodes to fight with adding back.
I have just about lost all faith in Homeseer. The problems are endless with this product. I have tried about 4-5 other types of software and none have been this unstable. Random excludes, devices that lose their custom settings, fails to include. This is nonsense for a product that is at high end of cost for control software.
