I'm retiring an Insteon smokebridge and 3 talking FirstAlert Onelink Smoke/CO Detectors. They are designed to work as a system: The Onelinks are linked together and verbally announce smoke an CO alarms across all of their speakers at the same time. The smokebridge allows your ISY to find out if a smoke or CO alarm was raised by any of the sensors (but not which one specifically). You can create programs to notify you, turn on lights and shut HVAC and fans based on getting an alarm from the smokebridge.
Here are the items:
(1) Insteon SmokeBridge $15 + plus shipping of your choice
(3) FirstAlert OneLink (SCO500) Talking Smoke/CO sensors. $16 each..or.. $50 for all 3 + plus shipping of your choice
The Onelinks are currently linked together and the smokebridge linked to one of the sensors, per instructions. The onelinks do need new locations selected, currently they are "Kitchen", "Basement" and "Childs bedroom". The instruction link above has the directions for picking one of the other available locations.
FYI: As noted above, the design of the smokebridge will not allow your ISY to know which detector raised the smoke or CO alarm, just that one was raised
