Change Event_Name with script?

Anyone know if there is a way to change the name of an existing Event via script? I saw you can set it if creating the event via script, but I need to change it on an existing event. I also saw that you can get Event_Name among other event info using strEventData. Not clear if that object could be manipulated and pushed back to HS. Hoping someone has played with this and can share details.
