Yesterday I moved my HS3 system to a newer computer running WIN 7. My old system was running WIN XP.
HS3 and all my plugins were working flawlessly and I was very pleased with the up tick in performance compared to old computer.
Then I remembered that WIN 10 could be upgraded for free for Win 7 and Win 8 users. So I did the upgrade and all seemed to be fine until I started HS3.
I cannot connect to my Insteon PLM. Device manager shows the USB to serial port created by the FTDI driver. I tried to reinstall the FTDI driver (from the FTDI web page) but it did not make any difference. I have tried countless fixes without any luck (remember that all worked fine before the upgrade to WIN 10). Unrelated, I cannot get HS3 to run on boot up either...
Any ideas fellas?
