Open/Close Sensor triggering events on heartbeat

I am experiencing a problem with one of my open/close sensors which I believe started around the time I installed a beta version. .79 I think. When the sensor sends a heart beat, HS3 fires an event set to trigger when the open/close status changes. This did not use to happen so I'm hoping you can find something in the recent code changes that may explain it.

Additionally, with this sensor, I have two non-grouped devices. One is the status and the other is the heart beat. This is not a new issue. This sensor has been this way since installation quite some time ago. Should these two devices be grouped like the other sensors and their sub devices are? And do these open/close sensors support battery level like the motion sensors do?

I have two open/close sensors but the one in question has firmware 43 and i2CS protocol.

My older one, which doesn't appear to support heartbeat, is firmware 28 and i2 protocol.

Another question about the open/close sensor in question... I did not see a setting in the HS3 Insteon configuration for the duration between heartbeats. Does this sensor not support setting that value?
