HS3Pro Won't Play Any Sounds - Pi2

Hi there, Linux gurus!

Neither the TTS nor playing audio files work on my HS3Pro install. It's running on a Pi2 and I have confirmed that the speaker and the headphone jack work just fine by using the instructions from https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/usage/audio/

Here are some Log entries:

This was recently rebuilt from a backup image of my system that I created from a linked IMG file from the board.

Any ideas?
