I am trying to accomplish one of two things.
1. LOCK any editing from the deviceutility page. (I have tried setting the SupportsConfigDevice to False.. didn't work)
2. IF the user can make changes from the deviceutility page, capture ALL changes made. (I've experimented with ConfigDevicePost and SetIOMulti, it only fires when value changes or the device is altered on the custom config page)
The purpose for this is that when a device has it's name changed, it affects other devices. I want to either prevent users from changing the name (accept on the plugin page, where the postback is controlled), OR be able to capture whenever the name is changed to adjust the other devices as necessary.
Any ideas?
