I never played with any of this before. Mostly because I live in Los Angeles and we don't have air conditioning and seldom use the heat. We especially don't use the heat much because the distribution system sucks in our house. The heater is right over our bedroom. The duct splits in two immediately, one for the master bedroom, and one for the rest of the house. Which doesn't work too well unless you want to cook in the master and be as cold as you can get in LA in the rest of the house.
So I will be looking to not only have a thermostat control heat on/off and temperature setting, but also to redistribute the warm air. In line duct fans or possibly smart grills will need control also.
Any recommendations on what should I start looking at?
