My omeTroller SE Pro got messed up when someone accidentally shut down my power supply during installation of a new WiFi modem. Today I had to restore the HomeTroller SE Pro to factory settings. When I originally received the HomeTroller, it had HS2 Pro installed. I upgraded to HS3 Pro without any problems. The restore to factory, reinstalled HS2 Pro.
I downloaded and attempted to reinstall HS3 Pro, but I keep getting an error message: "A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file C:\Document and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\HomeSeer Technologies LLC\HomeSeer HS3 3.0.280\install\disk1.cab has an invalid signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt."
I initially thought the copy HS3 Pro that I downloaded might be corrupt, but after 3 separate downloads (to 3 separate locations) the same error message keeps coming up.
I even attempted to install a copy of the file that was downloaded several months ago (same build) and I received the same error message.
Would appreciate any thoughts or ideas.
