TZ660 - trying to use both switches

Hi,
I am fairly new to z-wave but getting the hang of it.
I bought a z-wave TKBHOME TZ660.
It has two physical switches.
I added it to my z-wave network expecting it to set up as two separate switches.
It hasn't. It appears as one node.
If I turn it on and off via HS only one of the switches operates.
Reading the instructions it seems that I can associate another z-wave device with the second switch and it will control that device.
What I want to do is to be able to control it with HS.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
