In my network z-wave I use a lot of Schneider-Electric (Merten) devices with 2-gangs devices. Those devices are connected with a Z-stick S2 which works as a secondary controller. I love some others devices of other suppliers, but in a secondary network, the new devices will not work nice. So I was thinking to use 2 controllers in the same network. First I tried to use two Z-stick S2 in my network, but both controllers are swapping between the two com-ports.
Today I have installed 2 Z-sticks on a pc with windows 7 and Homeseer 3.
- one Z-stick S2 for my secondary z-wave network (for the double Merten devices)
- one Z-stick gen5 for my primary z-wave network (for all other z-wave devices)
The pc has rebooted sereval times and everything with the both networks is fine and works well. No swapping of com-ports anymore. The two Z-sticks have different drivers and it looks this is the sollution for two different networks of z-wave on one pc.
Are there more people who use two Z-sticks and that works ok?
