Ramp rate gets stuck

I may not be using groups and ramp rates properly but here it goes.

It's my understanding that I should be able to

1. Set a default Ramp Rate for a dimmer
2. Setup a Device Group that sets a completely differnt Ramp Rate
3. When turning on/off the device directly with homeseer it should use the default Ramp Rate
4. When using the Group directly from Homeseer, it should use the groups ramp rate

This is not the case. If I factory reset the device (pull out pin and hold in) and then add to Homeseer, the device works as expected with a default Ramp Rate of .1sec. However, if I add the device to a group that uses a longer ramp rate, that group ramp rate becomes the devices default and there seem to be no way to remove it short of manually at the switch reseting it by pulling the pin.
